Where voice falls low,
Feet become still,
Heart throbs in joy:

Where His verses you listen,
Were once revealed through
Beloved’s benevolent lips.

Where lovers walk barefoot,
To experience the painful joy,
Pricked with stones, cold.

Where you greet Rawdha,
All wishes are forgotten
And Beloved’s love begotten.

Heart’s home,
Soul’s shelter,
Mind’s melody:
Welcome to Medina.
