Mujeeb Jaihoon

In the bazaar of Love

The poet finds only one buyer in the midst of many for his goods baked with Divine Love.

In search of a drop,
I found an ocean!

Looking for an angel,
Blessed with humanity,
Alive with a heart.

In the bazaar of love
Many gathered around me
Yet only a Single Buyer
I found!

Sales remain dull
In the world of the heart,
For, the intellect has
Stolen the show.

The present age begs
For change,
‘Let the curtain of mystery rise!’
A hundred tales remain untold.

Jaihoon no longer chants
In solitude,
For his tiny self is burnished
With the dust of Medina.
