Asked she,

“Would you march
With the flag
Fly the balloons
In the air?

Share sweets with friends?
Enjoy with relatives?”

I replied,

What joy for this nightingale?
Far from his land of hill?

The fate of lovers:
To silently remember,
The bygone days,
Spent in love’s chamber.
