My Tears to Irrigate Your Love-field

Crave, sigh, yearn, and burn in the soul’s quest for divine love— proclaims Mujeeb Jaihoon in this mystic poem..

I crave to cry
Before You high.

I wish to sigh
Beside You nigh.

All I now yearn:
To desire none but You

To wipe my heart
Off every other love-dust

To burn my soul
Solely on Your love-coal

And divert my tears
To irrigate Your love-field
