Why Love me so much?

A lover fears he may not be able to reciprocate his beloved’s love and worries about divine retribution— poetizes Mujeeb Jaihoon

Thinking about her one day
Jaihoon in his dream say:

“Ah! Why love me so much-
With tears my absence quench?

If I fail to return the same
I fear His Justice will hell-burn

Hey Tasbih!
Pray to your Merciful Rabb,
May I too in love rub.

The defeat in hate,
Is not hard to bear;
But to lose in love,
Is a matter to fear”
