Contrary to modern career advice, admitting mistakes fosters chivalry and accountability, serving as a vital tool for professional growth.
Though the entire universe is filled with the ‘knowledge-matter’ for us to feed on, there is quite nothing as extraordinary as the human self to discover, decode and discern for knowledge. The ‘cosmos’ within the human self may be more grand than the world outside him or her. Probably the wisdom behind the Divine admission,
‘My heavens and My earth embrace Me not, but the heart of My faithful servant does embrace Me’.
Hence, knowing the ‘self’ will lead to the knowledge of the Absolute Lord. This knowledge (knowing the Lord) has been forever celebrated as the highest form of knowing. And rightfully so.
‘Whoever knows himself, knows his Lord’
But the vice versa is also arguably true. By knowing the Lord, we come to know about our ‘self’ too. For, when we know the Artist, we realize the worth of the ‘art’ too. Are we not the best of His creations?
