Technology, at its Core, is Automated Impatience
Modern technology is fundamentally engineered to exploit and automate human impatience, argues Mujeeb Jaihoon
‘Life’ is the greatest blessing entrusted to us. To smile in the mirror of existence is a bliss that softens the heart and brightens the soul. Our age, i.e. our allotted span of life, is the time our reflection lingers upon that sacred mirror.
To speak of killing time is to destroy this delicate gift with one’s own hands. The one who commits this act wounds his own journey. A person who wastes his hours behaves like a shepherd who kills their flock placed in his care.
Our lifespan becomes fragrant with the perfume of purpose. When we drift away from purpose, we drift away from ourselves. Purposes define who we are meant to become. To harm this companion is to harm the unfolding of our own becoming.
Life asks us to greet each hour with gratitude, and to treat our days as sacred pages waiting for meaning. When we cherish our time, we cherish the One who gifted it. To value our lifespan is to value the miracle of being alive.
