Journey through life’s trials and triumphs, finding resilience and courage amidst destiny’s challenges, writes Mujeeb Jaihoon.

Life is a walk,
Through the woods:
Destiny sends dacoits
To rob your goods.

From the rear and the front,
Calamities plenty confront.

But,
You panic not,
As touch-me-not.

You numb not,
As if naught.

Let not destiny scare:
Into its eyes you stare.

From the skies
Shall come Mercy.
Stay calm,
Don’t become crazy.

Fight with
The purpose-sword,
Defend with
The patience-shield.

Cover your heart
In the sheet of silk,
Place your feet
Into the path of thorns.

You be bold, for
Your heart is gold.

That which has a start
Must end at a point.

Your troubles
Which began on a day,
Has to conclude
On another day.

Consume the beautiful mix:
Sweet love, bitter sacrifice.

Life’s trials will bow.
Wonder not, why or how.

Your way out
Is the same path
You treaded so far
In the past.

Give up not
Till the end.
Success till kisses
Your cheeks.
