Human relationships are facing severe challenges due to the ‘timeless’ Time, writes Mujeeb Jaihoon
How will sleep befriend
When awake is my friend?
Left and right
Am I turning
To get some sleep
Am I struggling
Rushing is she here and there,
While managing
This table and that chair
So that everything goes fair
This restlessness is the result
With ‘timeless time’ has she felt
We live as fearful as the two mirrors
Kept in midst of mountainous rocks
All these thoughts make me scare
As if nothing else to fear
But you make me humbled to dust
When in midst of your tiring work
Still thinking of me
As if I am your only quest
Still, playing tricks in jest
Just to carry out a test
Whether in my heart
You are the only guest
May the Mighty Lord
Protect from the envious pest
And beautify more the Bird
Caged under your chest
Its beauty if once lost
Is a sign of everything lost
