The Murmur

Six forlorn friends convened at an Orchard to share their woes of Solitude. Just then a Seventh one appeared turning the funeral to festival. – by Mujeeb Jaihoon.

Beauty and Bravery
Met by an orchard;
In tears, they sighed,
“Where shall we find our comrade?”

Love and Loyalty
Heard their cry:
“We, too, pray
For a friend nigh.”

Wisdom and Victory
Consoled the four:
“Patience be your food
For the solitude you bore.”

Just then appeared Perfection
With a murmur of affection.
The funeral turned to a festival:
“Behold! In Meem is your companion.”
