And defenders defiled as devils
Scams bundled as gifts
Lust lauded as love

Paradise painted in properties
Promises penned on melting papers
Respect and reverence ridiculed
Dignity deemed dysfunctional

Every art and thought
Is sold and bought
Every mind today a marketplace
Human existence: mere merchandise.
