Human Again

As we fail in our Divine duties and are ashamed to raise hands in prayer, the love of Beloved inspires within us new humanity-writes Jaihoon

O His merciful Meem!

Embarrassed by my faults,
Plundered of my faith,
Ashamed was I, even
To raise hands in prayer.

Just when I had lost
My humanity,
And many felt
Pity for this sinner,

Your love arrived
To heal,
To make me feel
Human again.
