We should learn to liberate the tears imprisoned in our agonized hearts- Mujeeb Jaihoon on relieving pain
As hard as mountains
It may harden
As dark as night
It may blacken
As sharp as sword
It may hurt
As ruthless as hell
It may burn
As it loses touch
With the real Possessor
Fall, if you can,
Into the arms of a lover
And break free the flood
of innocent tears
Captive’d for long
in the eye-reservoir
And then that poor thing
Called the Heart
Will return to its
Quintessential state
