Trivandrum Deputy Collector receives Slogans of the Sage

April 14 2018 (The Nilgiris): K. Inbasekar IAS, deputy collector of Trivandrum District (Kerala) was presented with the book, Slogans of the Sage, Mujeeb Jaihoon’s collection of aphorisms by *Sayyid Muhammad Ali Shihab – at Nilgiri College of Arts & Science, in the presence of Professor Nithyanantham, syndicate member of Bharathiar University, Rashid Gazzali, prominent trainer and Executive Director of Sign Institute of Social Leadership , Dr. M Dorai, college principal, and other Trustees of the college.

K. Inbasekar, the son of a tea estate worker from Padacheri in Pandalur taluk, The Nilgiris, is an inspiring icon for those pursuing academic excellence. He had earlier served as scientist in the Indian Agricultural Research Institute.

Launched at Sharjah International Book fair 2017, Jaihoon’s coffee table book with aesthetically illustrated quotations has been warmly received earlier by several world leaders including His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE’s Minister of Tolerance, Dr. Manmohan Singh, former Indian Prime Minister, Rahul Gandhi, president of Indian National Congress, and other eminent academicians, interfaith activists and leading educational institutions.
