Despite aspiring and expressing love for the Beloved Meem in the sweetest and dearest of metaphors, the poet still feels they are inadequate.
Oasis of my desert
Spring of my well
Coal of my fire
Light of my caravan
Joy of my monsoon
Canoe of my river
Melody of my song
Tap of my dance
Honey of my hive
Gem of my treasure
Throne of my kingdom
Moon of my skies
Apple of my eye
Desire of my dreams
Scent of my soul
Pride of my existence
Thus, I greet him:
Meem, my heartbeat
And yet feel my love
For him: incomplete
