The coming of the Holy Prophet perfumed humanity with compassion and knowledge bringing smiles on the faces of the oppressed and weak – by Mujeeb Jaihoon.

Hands were unclean,
Dress had no shine.

Hygiene untouched,
Culture unknown.

Clouds of ignorance,
Heat of injustice.

Women given no dignity,
Children shown no mercy.

Old had no respect,
Animals met with cruelty.

Lover’s song had no melody,
Death-causes had no remedy.

Time had been waiting for long,
World could not afford any long.

From the womb of Time,
Came a cry-
It seemed the decree
Was now or never.

The cry reached,
The skies and beyond.
Stars and meteorites,
Wondered about its fate.

Very soon a voice,
Heard from the Above:
‘MY Beloved to appear
In time very near.

Time will then be painted
In new colors.
Civilization: Scented
Unlike before’
