Prayers from loved ones often receive quicker response than our own

My days passed,
Quite harsh,
The system had
My head and mind crush.

My heart from love
Was so delicate.
I tried hard,
No care could I dedicate.

I sent a plea
To my compassionate sweetheart,
‘Pray for me as you sit
After prayer on the mat.’

The wonder of dua is strange indeed,
As strange as the reply it does succeed,
More than yours, your loved ones’ plea,
Will a reply from Him soon receive.

O elegant one who covers me in love,
Keeps me warm from solitary cold above,
Reveal to me the mystery of affinity,
Why Nightingale sits always in Rose’s vicinity?

Tell me the sweet secret
Of His Reply:
He heard your call,
Echoed with love.

Praise be
To the Merciful Him.
My hopes
Are no longer dim.

May my state of heart benefit some,
For those who around the river Jaihoon come.
