When the Rosary of Affinity breaks, the Sky of Spiritual Joy loses its stars, and Love becomes uncountable.

One by one
My Rosary breaks
Star by star
My sky flakes

How awful
The cut that is made
By the sword
That glimmers in the blade

Love’s count
I can no more keep
Since my Rosary
Now lays asleep

Where can I display
The Glory of the One
Whose glory
Eclipses the sun?

How do I recall
The grassy fields of yore
Where I was the bee
And He, the flower?

Who will come
And break the silence
In the deep
Sands of stillness?

Who will fly
That quiet kite
Over the hills
Of my heart’s delight?

Who can shower
Rain upon my pain
To lessen the torment
That drenches my brain?

Whom will I cherish
To remember His fear
To keep my heart pure
And my conscience clear?

Who will wipe off
The stains from my mirror
To whom can I confess
When I falter and error?
