Yogyakarta, Indonesia (Oct 24 2019): Slogans of the Sage, Mujeeb Jaihoon’s illustrated collection of aphorisms by Sayyid Muhammed Ali Shihab Thangal, the late Indian statesman and philanthropist, gifted to Timothy Winter, also known as Shaykh Abdal Hakim Murad, renowned researcher, writer and academic. He is the Dean of the Cambridge Muslim College, Director of Studies (Theology and Religious Studies) at Wolfson College & the Shaykh Zayed Lecturer in Islamic Studies at University of Cambridge.
Written by Mujeeb Jaihoon, this coffee table book contains the sagacious aphorisms of Sayyid Muhammed Ali Shihab Thangal, the late South Indian statesman and philanthropist.
Launched at Sharjah International Book fair 2017, the aesthetically illustrated book of quotations has been warmly received earlier by several world leaders including His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mabarak Al Nahyan, UAE’s Minister of Tolerance, Dr. Manmohan Singh, former Indian Prime Minister and other eminent academicians, interfaith activists and leading educational institutions.
