Poison may aspire for honey and Jackals may cry like sheep, Nay even Abu Lahab’sheart once felt for the Beloved— writes Jaihoon
Poison will at times
Desire to become honey
Rock may wither;
Like water, shiver.
Jackals too may cry:
Like sheep, they shy.
Even Bu Lahab,
The accursed, once felt:
For Bin Abdulla,
His heart melt.
This sinner too craved once,
With Mustafa’s love soul danced.
