Love and its ecstasy descend into the hearts out of God’s mercy- writes Mujeeb Jaihoon in this poem inspired at Rawdha Shareef
To explore his land,
Implore his love,
Greet him so close,
Bathe eyes in bliss,
Implode with yearning,
Decode what’s coming,
Nod for every challenge,
Be the abode of His Mercy,
Enter paradise while here,
Wander in dreams so true,
Be in the angels’ company,
To be hunter of stars’ glory-
‘Tis not meant for all,
But the one who got his call.
Love is neither free nor fair,
Beloved’s love is but by God’s will.
