Prominent Indian English author Mujeeb Jaihoon was conferred the Sri Narayana Guru Shreshta Award 2022 for ‘Slogans of the Sage’, a book of quotations based on the life and message of Sayyid Muhammad Ali Shihab, the late South Indian philanthropist and statesman. The prestigious award was presented by Sachidananda Swami, the chief priest of Shivagiri Mutt.

Also present were Kerala agriculture minister P. Prasad, Panakkad Syed Aseel Ali Shihab Thangal, Swami Rithambharananda, Adv. YA Raheem, Adv. Shyam Prabhu and other dignitaries. The award was nominated for Jaihoon’s book based on the life and message of Sayyid Muhammad Ali Shihab Thangal.
