Discover the story of a devout follower finding peace in the ‘Merciful Him’, amidst a world lost in the mundane.
One cold night,
After my prayer,
I looked at the face
Of my Tasbih dear.
I asked, “In what thoughts
Are you lost?
To whom has your heart
Become host?”
You heard not my call,
Things big are to you small.
The lovers have
Entered the harem,
Why then are you
Filled with mayhem?”
The reply came, brief and clear,
No pride or boast, no trace of fear.
“I’m lost in my Merciful Him,
His verses swing in my every hymn.”
