Langkavi, Malaysia (June 16 2019): Mujeeb Jaihoon, UAE-based author, presented his book, SLOGANS OF THE SAGE, to the organizers of the annual Eid Al Fitr celebrations held at The Ocean Residence Langkavi, Malaysia.

The ceremony also witnessed nasheed performance by native students of an orphan care home based in the neighborhood.

Written by Mujeeb Jaihoon, this coffee table book contains the sagacious aphorisms of Sayyid Muhammed Ali Shihab Thangal, the late South Indian statesman and philanthropist.

Interestingly, Malaysia is also home to several Sayyid families who trace their lineage to the Holy Prophet. Sayyid Shihab, whose forefathers migrated from Yemen to Malabar, too, was a member of this widely respected family, traditionally known as _Ahl Bait_, scattered across the globe.

Launched at Sharjah International Book fair 2017, the aesthetically illustrated book of quotations has been warmly received earlier by several world leaders including His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mabarak Al Nahyan, UAE’s Minister of Tolerance, Dr. Manmohan Singh, former Indian Prime Minister and other eminent academicians, interfaith activists and leading educational institutions.
