Khalida Parveen, a vocal figure during the anti-CAA, NRC protests, heads the Amoomat Society, a group working towards empowering Muslim women
January 24, Hyderabad: Khalida Parveen, Hyderabad-based veteran social activist received her copy of ‘Slogans of the Sage’, Mujeeb Jaihoon’s collection of quotations by Sayyid Muhammad Ali Shihab, late Indian statesman and philanthropist.
She as a vocal figure during the anti-CAA, NRC protests in 2019 and is extremely active on social media which she uses to help the poor and the marginalized.
A pharmacist by profession, Khalida Parveen did her primary schooling from Kerala before migrating to Hyderabad for higher education. She is the General Secretary of the Amoomat Society, a group working towards empowering Muslim women.
