The love-stricken poet pleads with the beloved to arrive before the “Terrifying Summon.”

You may disbelieve my tale of woes:
Love steals a lover’s senses,
Confuse fact with fantasy;
‘Tis the fault of love’s ecstasy

Hey beloved.
If ever I gain my senses
Unveil shall I the secrets

Till then come to me soon-
Or a little more than soon!
Come as quickly as you can
Before the Terrifying Summon!
