Mujeeb Jaihoon asserts the profound impact of celebrating the joy of shared moments of family bonds.
I hope you are all doing well today. I would like to start by asking you a question: have any of you ever been to the dentist? If so, you know how painful it can be. They drill into your teeth and administer injections in your mouth. But at the end of the day, they alleviate your pain.
In a similar way, your parents sometimes discipline you in manners that may seem painful. However, they do it because they love you and want you to be the best you can be. Just like a dentist, your parents may seem to cause discomfort in the short term, but they are ultimately trying to help you in the long term.
That is why it is important to remember that your parents are your biggest allies. When you have a problem, you should turn to them for help. And when you have something joyful to share, you should also share it with them.
The reason you are all gathered here today is to celebrate the special bond of family. You must appreciate the good moments in your lives and share them with each other to express your gratitude to the Almighty. You may celebrate every little joy that you are blessed with; be it university admission or shifting to a new home.
Finally, I would like to remind everyone that you are all blessed to have your grandparents in your lives. Many of your friends may not have the opportunity to spend time with their grandparents, so cherish these moments.
Thank you.
