Mujeeb Jaihoon, an Indian-born writer and community activist based in the UAE, wrote “The Cool Breeze From Hind” as a mystical discourse on Indian Indigeneity, featuring a rare poetic-prose narrative with brilliant visual metaphors and powerful imagery. Drawing heavily on Kerala’s historical legends and anti-colonial freedom fighters, Jaihoon warns readers about the dangers of the demonic “Monoculture” that threatens India’s pluralistic and secular fabric. The book is published by Adam Publishers & Distributors, Delhi – 2018 and is available on Amazon.
Jaihoon’s other books include “Slogans of the Sage” (which won the Sree Narayana Guru Shreshta Award 2022 for best author), “Mission Nizamuddin,” “Meem is for Mercy,” “The Alchemy of Affinity,” and “Mothers & Martyrs.” His work has been translated into Italian, Arabic, Tamil, and Malayalam and featured in global media, including English, Arabic, Kyrgyz, and Indian publications. He is a regular participant in leading literary events, including the Sharjah International Book Fair, and his books have been warmly received by world statesmen and thought leaders. Jaihoon also serves as a director at several educational institutions and plays an advisory role in community development projects. He is a regular speaker on issues pertaining to education, women’s empowerment, and interfaith harmony.
Trishma Pinto, an award-winning events presenter, and public speaking trainer, will moderate the discussion, utilizing her expertise and professionalism to ensure all participants are engaged and informed.
