Though love’s transformative power elevates the lover, its intensity raises questions of consequence.
I admit without
The slightest doubt
Nothing like His Justice
Is as just
Entirely merciful
To the sinner
He ignores crimes
Big and minor
Yet there are limits
Defined for all
‘Mizan‘ saves the world
From the fall
Our thoughts and actions:
To be limited
Love and hate beyond:
Aren’t permitted
Hey my love-swelled beloved!
My heart:
Bleeds with your compassion
My veins:
Dance in your passion
Love is indeed
A blessed thing
It makes a beggar
Feel like a king
But this lover is drunk
In your zealous craze
Unaware where to turn
From your thoughts
Will this fanatic
Be punished
For this excess
He committed ?
For, was not the Rose
For the nightingale granted
With the command to refrain
From Love Unlimited ?
