Slogans of the Sage presented to Central Uni. Kerala VC

Aug 08 2018: Kasaragod, Kerala: Author Mujeeb Jaihoon presented Dr. G. Gopakumar, Vice Chancellor, Central University of Kerala- CUK, with Slogans of the Sage, illustrated coffee table book of aphorisms by Sayyid Shihab Thangal, the late Indian statesman and philanthropist.

Also present were Dr. Musthafa alias Muhammedunni (Director, IQAC), Dr. B.R Prasannakumar (Finance Officer, CUK), Dr. A.Radhakrishnan Nair (Registrar, CUK), Dr. Amruth G Kumar (Head, Department of Education, CUK), Dr.K.Jayaprasad (Pro Vice Chancellor, CUK), Dr. V. P. Joshith (Assistant Professor, Department of Education, CUK).

The Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod, came into being in 2009 under the Central Universities Act 2009 (Parliament Act No. 25 of 2009). The University is founded on the noble vision of a ‘caring wisdom’ and is guided by the lofty ideals of academic and social commitment, moral steadfastness and intellectual and spiritual enlightenment, as reflected in its vision statement. Launched at Sharjah International Book fair 2017, Jaihoon’s coffee table book with aesthetically illustrated quotations has been warmly received earlier by several world leaders including His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE’s Minister of Tolerance, Dr. Manmohan Singh, former Indian Prime Minister, Rahul Gandhi, president of Indian National Congress, and other eminent academicians, interfaith activists and leading educational institutions.
