Paradise is only a Byproduct of Prophetic Love

“

There are no red lines in the description and definition of love. For, in love, the Beloved is the very line of the blind lover—writes Mujeeb Jaihoon

Whatever the Prophet did, he did out of love. This is what endears the creation to his pleasing personality. And this is exactly the reason why his lovers run out of words and ideas to express the rationale behind their reverence to Allah’s Beloved. Indeed, both prose and poetry fall short of meeting the threshold of his love.

Admittedly, whatever blessings we received in this world, and may receive in the hereafter shall be out of our heart’s connection to the Messenger of Allah. Success in both worlds is proportional to our love for the Holy Prophet. For, Paradise is only a byproduct of Prophetic love. For, how could anyone see paradise whose eyes have not wept in longing for the Beloved of the Lord? For, the Lord doles paradise as a throwaway gift for those whose hearts beat and burn with the thoughts of His Rasool.

There are no red lines in the description and definition of love. For, in love, the Beloved is the very line of the blind lover. Hopefully, he or she will be forgiven on the Last Day for their unconventional utterances.
