Slogans of the Sage Presented to Top Indian Education Experts

(May 04 2019, Nilgiris, Tamil Nadu): Slogans of the Sage, Mujeeb Jaihoon’s translated compilation of aphorisms by Sayyid Shihab Thangal, the late Indian philanthropist and statesman, was presented to a delegation of leading education experts of South India. The ceremony was held during the meeting of the Nilgiri Arts & Science College (NCAS) Advisory Committee.

The education pundits who received the book included Dr. E Balagurusamy (Former Vice Chancellor, Anna University, Chennai, and President of the Coimbatore Academy of Sciences), Dr. K K N Kurup (Renowned historian and former Vice Chancellor, Calicut_University), Dr. M Dasan (Former Registrar, Kannur University) and Dr. Saji Gopinath (CEO, Kerala Startup Mission, Govt of Kerala) and Dr. Alungal Mohammed (Chairman, Al Abeer Group). Rashid Gazzali, Secretary, Nilgiri Arts & Science College, was also present during the ceremony.

Launched at Sharjah International Book fair 2017, the aesthetically illustrated book of quotations has been warmly received earlier by several world leaders including His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE’s Minister of Tolerance, Dr. Manmohan Singh, former Indian Prime Minister, Rahul Gandhi, president of Indian National Congress, and other eminent academicians, interfaith activists and leading educational institutions.
