As human words fall short, the Holy Prophet’s unwavering love for God is the ultimate measure of thankfulness.

O Allah!
You have given me,
Treasures full.
And my thanks,
Is no more than nil.

For what I asked,
Or rather, beyond—
You have provided,
Without any count.

So, now sitting
Near Your House,
Many thanks,
I wish to express.

For each and every thing,
Big and small,
For the bliss
In spring and fall.

With my lips I request,
“Hey, Merciful Him,”
With my eyes I beg,
“Hey, Sweet Creator,”
What to call You,
Hey, La shareeka Lahu?

Hey Rabb,

How much
To thank, praise You?
How much shall
My gratitude fetch?

Came the reply:

Hey Jaihoon,
Just the Beloved—much!
