A sinner’s plea for a private encounter during a spiritual ascent to the Beloved.

Hey angels!
Allah has created you,
To obey His Commands.

You are creatures of light,
Endowed with power, might.

Do you remember
Those bygone days?
The Green Dome,
At a distance.

I sat and cried from my bilaad:
On the Last Day I shall be glad.

Lord ordered you
To carry my salaam
So far, you’ve conveyed
Without any sham.

Saying,

“Here is a gift,
Hey Hijazi Beloved
It’s from Jaihoon,
A Hindi walad“.

But in this blessed moment:
May I make a selfish comment?

Please step aside!
For this son of Adam—
To greet alone
The hero of twin Alam.

I now stand beside the Habeeb,
Who hears the sinful gareeb.

Therefore, make way;
For my selfish love—
Without any means
It shall flow.

Tell me, hey Jibreel,

Which selfish lover
Can accommodate
Even the dust—
Between to mediate?

He wants to directly communicate:
The entire pain, passionate.

Tell me, hey Jibreel,
Did you not
Obediently move aside
After a while,
On the heavenly ride?

Ah! For now,
For now, this sinner too
Is in his Miraj,
Towards the love
Of the Heavenly Siraj.
