Acknowledge the Divine to marvel at the beauty of nature.

“As I gazed at midnight
A strange light caught my sight
Faint, yet shining bright
Was it man’s or jinn’s might?

My eyes:
Pleased
I blinked not:
More than twice

Was it the distant stars
In the sky-
Twinkles which at
The ‘Kun’ of the Most High?

Later,

At Fajr’s break, the light was gone
His love thawed: worries withdrawn
Melodious love like nightingale’s song
Taught me sincerity, love all along

Like a rose, my heart was content
In His love, my soul was bent
Dancing with joy, my worries spent
With the Divine, my heart takes ascent

Hey Crazed nightingale
Who filled my melody!
In your company I forgot
What had happened and not
You taught me for good:
Worship is nothing but Love

This Rose remained ignorant
Of its own smell
Until you sprinkled
His Love on its petal

I became a wonder
For my own self
I danced in His love:
In breeze how moves a leaf

I wish not to thieve
Your prized time
All I ask is a thing:
Remain beside your Him-song
