Despite transformation in all creatures including the virus, men & women adamantly continue their old habits- Jaihoon’s poetic adieu to 2020

The queen and her bees
Rivers of honey hived

Winds and skies too
Into new worlds revolved

The whales and sharks
Deeper oceans dived

Nay, the vigilante virus
Into vile variants evolved

Men and women
In habits remain one

In greed are they proud
In hate are they loud
Enslaved to the ‘Cloud’
Severed from their Lord
