Mujeeb Jaihoon speaks on the profound relationship between children and parents and finding purpose in life.
Dear Children
Remember, the example of a parent-child relationship should be as delightful as sighting the Eid moon. Just like a child in boarding school eagerly awaits their upcoming leave to meet their parents, parents are equally eager to meet you with joy. You are like the Eid crescent to each other, symbolizing the love between children and parents.
FAME & SCHOLARSHIP
We all wish for our beloved teachers to be renowned and respected by as many people in the world. However, remember that we are blessed to be their students only because they can give us their time and affection. If they become preoccupied with the masses, we may miss out on their valuable companionship. True scholarship is not measured by fame alone.
SUNNA MOISTENS HEARTS
We also must remember that embracing the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet will ignite his teachings and love within us. Today we lead a dry and mechanical sleep-walking life unconscious of our actions. Only Sunnah of the Holy Prophet can moisten our dry hearts hungry for a life connected to rain and trees. When you grow up, your cherished childhood memories should extend beyond video games and tablets.
LIFE IS LIKE A BUS STOP
Moral knowledge alone enables us to decipher the signboards we encounter on the journey of life. There are routes leading in all sorts of directions. Life is like a bus stop: with righteous knowledge, you can discern between good and bad routes, making informed choices.
NOT EARLY. NOT LATE
Everything in life unfolds according to the decree of Allah, in perfect timing. Our perception may deem events as early or late, but ultimately, everything happens precisely when it should. Therefore, never be in haste for success in life.
