Education is the best armor to protect from the weapons of mass and mind destruction, inspires Mujeeb Jaihoon in his felicitation speech at the Gausiya Arabi Madrasa, the community-run madrassa empowered by the MAKTAB syllabus, developed and promoted by HADIA National Education Council— Kachavi, village in Haveri District, Karnataka – India
Dear students and community members.
You are attending this fountain of learning fired by the thirst of knowledge. Firstly, I take this opportunity to salute your thirst as a miracle of human enterprise. You have answered the call of Knowledge notwithstanding the adverse economic and social conditions around you. Nevertheless, may I also remind you that creating thirst for knowledge is also another miracle. ‘Karamat’ is not just the extraordinary doings of saints alone. The miracles related to education are higher miracles with far-reaching implications. The fruits of knowledge and knowledge-creation are infinite. Paradise is just one of them. Knowledge is an endless ocean. Its depth is as impenetrable as its breadth.

Identity: The Crown of Knowledge.
Dear Students. Your Community and Institution are working tirelessly to empower you with the best of knowledge related to both worlds. Education is the best armor you can wear to protect yourself and others from the weapons of mass and mind destruction. However, it is critical for you to uphold your spiritual identity despite your towering heights of success. Be it on the penthouse of a skyscraper or on the mounts of moon, your identity should not be compromised at any cost. No one should dare to offer a price tag for your identity. You should hold on to your ‘pehchaan’, even as you know the entire world is watching you.

Spiritual Learning as a Colorful Experience.
Islam is a human experience full of color and vigor. Its teachings, too, should be imparted with the same hue. The classrooms of Islamic learning, especially for the little ones, should be painted in rich colors, unlike the lifeless monochrome shade. I am happy you are on the brighter side in this regard.

Bond with the Beloved.
The relationship between believer and the Beloved Prophet is the very bloodline of Islamic spirituality. Love may be emotional in form. However, its spirit can never, ever be impulsive. Life can be momentary. Love can only eternal. Ignorance is the nemesis of Love. Knowledge is the recipe for eternal love. Therefore, a believer’s bonding with the Beloved of God is nourished by knowledge of his life and teachings.
