Lee Weissman tweets from Slogans of the Sage

Renowned American Jewish Interfaith activist, Lee Weissman, popular for his illuminating tweets on Muslim and Jewish spirituality, has just tweeted from Slogans of the Sage, a collection of aphorisms by Sayyid Muhammad Ali Shihab, the late Indian statesman and philanthropist.

Known by his twitter pseudonym, JihadiJew, Weissman was initiated to spiritual sciences after his encounter with a Sufi Sheikh in Madras, India where he completed his doctoral degree in Sanskrit and Tamil languages. As a lecturer at the Tarbut V’Torah Jewish Community School in Irvine, Lee is often a near-celebrity guest at Muslim students events across the US.

Launched at Sharjah International Book fair 2017, Jaihoon’s coffee table book with aesthetically illustrated quotations has been warmly received earlier by several world leaders including His Excellency Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE’s Minister of Tolerance, Dr. Manmohan Singh, former Indian Prime Minister, Rahul Gandhi, president of Indian National Congress, and other eminent academicians, interfaith activists and leading educational institutions.
