We may be guilty on all counts before the Divine Law, but that should not stop us from seeking His Grace— asserts Mujeeb Jaihoon.
I sin, You forgive;
I cry, You cheer;
I grieve, You relieve;
I seek, You provide;
I fear, You comfort;
I dream, You fulfill;
I fall, You hold;
I hurt, You heal;
I despise, You embrace;
I deceive, You guide;
I forget, You remind;
I abandon, You shelter;
I poison, You cure;
I corrupt, You cleanse;
I despise, You praise;
I despair, You inspire.
Embarrassed,
Guilty,
Convicted,
Transgressed,
Unworthy am I at best.
Yet I ask You times once,
Ya Rabb! Bury me not,
But in Your infinite Grace.
