Syed Sadiq Ali Shihab, the younger brother of Syed Muhammad Ali Shihab, the spiritual head of Kerala Muslims. He is on a private visit to UAE. He is leaving for Umrah, the lesser pilgrimage, after a week stay in UAE

Syed Sadiq Ali Shihab is popular among the Keralite youth, as he is the president of the SKSSF, the student wing of the main Ulama organization in Kerala.
Syed Sadiq Ali Shihab will be speaking at Ajman and Sharjah on 23rd June 2001.

Other organizations in Dubai, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah has already held reception in his honor.
